Background: PICS (Pakistan Information & Cultural Society Sweden) was founded with a vision to help the large but completely disengaged Pakistani community in Scandinavia by creating creating a common platform. Started 25th of August 2016 in Stockholm and has expanded to all of Europe in this short period. PICS is a non-profit organization and our mission is to promote Pakistani culture, serve the community and to keep the Pakistani culture alive. PICS is an initiative of Pakistani expatriate for the purpose of advancement of social and cultural activities of the Pakistani community in Sweden. We have several followers and readers of our blog and social media while we have several famous bloggers and south Asian TV celebrities who are active and involved. Our platform is used to promote all cultural events in Sweden. Aim: Our basic aims are to promote Pakistani culture and portray positive image of Pakistan abroad, promote, develop and propagate Urdu language, provide information about Pakistan and bring Pakistanis from various background together. Throughout the year, we will host a variety of vibrant events that are not to be missed, including talks, buffet dinners, mushairas, cultural events and support all non-political Pakistani events. Our Team: PICS is supported by an extremely strong Board, made up of extremely talented, skilled and proficient members who are the main thrust for the organization.
