The food, the service and the price are great! If you want to have a good meal, here you can find it. They vary the menu so you can choose among different options. Also they have a terrace so if the weather is nice you can sit outside. I highly recommend it.

Had dinner here with my family. The food was passable but nothing more, not really worth the price. Very friendly staff, nice location.
Very tasty food although I was expecting more swedish options. The starter could be a bit larger, only 3 prawns with 3 slices of pre-fab bread to soak up the oily but tasty sauce. The salmon was well done but could use more salt and more veggies and less potato. Veggies were cooked to perfection, not too much not too little. Dessert had lots of garnish but not that much cake, but it was delicious
Excellent food for reasonable prices! I have been here countless times and I've become addicted to their \Fillet of pork with chili aioli\, yum! The staff are always nice and happy to help if you have questions. Ordering gluten free food here has never been a problem. If you are looking for delicious food at good prices in a cozy atmosphere this is the place to go!
We called in on the off chance. The staff were lovely and extremely helpful. The food was delicious, freshly prepared and piping hot. We had a real treat. Thank you very much.
Yoss is my family's favourite restaurant in the city and we've eaten there numerous times over many years. It is situated near Halmstad centre, on the main street (but don't worry, it's a pedestrian street so there is no noisy traffic). There is outdoors seating for the warmer months, but also a cosy interior with an older design. The owners are both very nice people who truly care about their restaurant and their customers, and they (and their staff) are open to help if you have any allergies (half my family is gluten intolerant, e.g.) or other questions or requests. The food itself is delicious. Personally I always come back to their entrecôte in garlic cream sauce, even though I'm mostly a vegetarian nowadays. There is something about how they grill the meat and how it blends with that sauce that is just brilliant... Oh, and on top of this the actual prices are leaning towards the low side compared to many other fine restaurants in the city. I can also recommend the white chocolate mousse with caramel leaves as a dessert. A nice composition of sweet tastes and pieces of fruits. I think the biggest downside with the restaurant is that they unfortunately don't have any vegetarian options on their menu. ----------------------- Yoss also offers lunch during the day. The menu differs entirely from the dinner menu, and I also believe it differs a bit from day to day. I was there a few days ago for a lunch with my family and can safely say that it was just as good as the dinner I so love. We all ordered the same chinese beef stew, which was a (too) large portion of a stew with extremely tender meat together with rice. There is also a salad buffet with a mixed salad, pineapple, olives, bread, etc. on offer. And all this for a very reasonable price!
