Royal academy for fine arts in Stockholm is a nice place to visit even if you have limited time. It's only a 10 minute walk from the central station, shopping and the castle. They have a nice coffee shop with great views of the building and some of the collection. There is normally at least 4 main exhibitions in the building by excellent artists. Well worth an hour of your time.

To be honest it was a disappointment. I was expecting art show that featured swedish and international classics, originals. What it had was copies of statues and few classic original painting. When I visited there in november it also had 2 small shows from new swedish artists. Its a nice building though in a good area, and no entry fee. It also had café/ restaurant in it. Place is historical, so if you have spare time, 20-30 minutes, do make a visit

Cosy place, great art! The running exhibition is usually free, and most of the time, the academies art student's work is displayed as well. The setting is also perfect for sitting down and drawing the casts.
