After reading all the comments, we expected that we might need to wait longer hours in the barnakut, But we got the help from the nurses quite quick and also the doctor visited within an hour (say 45 minutes). After our first visit, we got a follow-up call from the nurse on weekend and she make sure our daughter was fine. On the follow-up visits to barnakut, we met a doctor and he was extremely nice and communicative. He patiently answered all our questions and gave advices on healthy diet for the kid and so on. He make sure our daughter was doing fine and taking all the medications without any issues. Parents, don' t worry too much before visting the barnakut, but be prepared for food, water bottle, toys and so on (for atleast a stay for 4 to 5 hours). That should do the help.

I just like this place - more relaxed then Astrid Lindgren and the staff is always polite and professional. Yes, long waiting time - but you always get to see the doctor!

Had bad experience, rather checking and investigating the situation of the kid, they had suggested me to wait until morning and show in the vardcentral.

Replace those 10 nurses with a screen connected to the internet. I find better advice on google. With the money you save hire 1 or 2 Doctors that can actually help. Please stop wasting tax payers money

HORRIBLE!!! Waited 2 Hours for skininfection. 5 minutew after the doctors came I was sent home to come back the next day.

...waited 6.5 hours no doctor came....no respect for child was given doctor A T just laughed at sick child and this kind of service not suppose to be on the kids hospital P.S. horrible receptionists atittude made the full package of unpleasent visit.

Fyfan vilka hjältar. Var inlagd i tre dagar för körtelfeber och varenda en i personalen var bemötande på ett sätt jag aldrig upplevt innan inom vården. Dom kändes aldrig irriterade trots att man ibland ringde efter personal stup i kvarten. Jag gick därifrån som en helt ny människa. Toppklass!

Varför heter det akuten när man får vänta ungefär 6 timmar? Tog med min fyra åriga son som hade slagit sig i pannan och som blödde mycket. Fick vänta i ungefär sex timmar bara för att få ETT stygn. Väldigt långa väntetider för barn, vi vuxna orkar o vänta men barn gör ju inte det. Hur tänker dem?! Älskar SÖS förlossningsavdelning men barnakuten måste tyvärr blir bättre.Väldigt besviken.
