Here in Bredsättra were Sikavarp, a trading place in the 13th century, and at the stone cross business was done. St Brita's chapel was used as protection against pirates and storage space. There's also a lighthouse of iron, so-called Heidenstam model, but unfortunately it's not available to the public. There's no service but still a quiet place to enjoy your own coffee while watching birds, cows and horses. Read more about our visits on Öland at amorfatitrips.com.

Calm and nice place on an otherwise hectic island in the summertime.
