Really nice hotel and setting. The vegan food in the restaurant was ok but could be better. If you're not a plant-based eater the restaurant seemed to be of very good standard

Its a great place for company outing for a day or two. They have activities for biking and some other sports. Food were really great, specially the desserts. Our rooms were about 500 meter from the main hall. The rooms had internet.
A high quality conference centre and hotel surrounded by a beautiful landscape complete with lakes, rivers and woodlands. The facility is a historical iron works converted to suit modern business customers and tourists alike. The historical touch creates a nice setting for all kinds of meetings and visits. All grain, meat and vegetables are locally produced, some even from the estate, and the restaurant is quite well-renowned for both its food and its wines. The breakfast is generous and plentiful, leaving little room for lunch. The dinner menu is equally fulfilling and comes with an option to take part in a memorable dessert buffet, which is as memorable as it is calorie-heavy. All and all, a great stop well worth a minor detour!
I’ve stayed at several places in Sweden as I bike through the summer of Covid-19, latest is Högbo Brukshotell.. it gets a 5 because the place covers all bases - hotel and family accom, space to camp or caravan if you want. Food is really good in the restaurants, just remember to book evenings (only downside...) for activities you have a ton of mountain biking right on the door step for all levels including kids or the 45K vasa loop, a super nice lake where you can hire kayaks, paddle boards, with a really well maintained bathing area. There plenty of other things to do for families, and I can see it being great for business conferences. The staff were really friendly and helpful too - always appreciated when people go the extra step.. I will be back and I’ll bring my family with me...
Basically a ski resort situated nicely enough near a mansion and its grounds. Meaning that the accomodation is ski lodge / camping style cabins with plenty of wear and tear. Some of them rather far from the reception area - up to half a mile / 1km away. Which also means there is plenty of heating, but no air condition. There are plenty of facilities, but open hours are few and often you will have to pay extra to use them. The hotel information which you receive when checking in is scarce and not that helpful. The restaurant requires a reservation, and if you choose to try the bar, they offer a fanciful and expensive, but lacking in information menu. The breakfast buffet is a plus, but doesn't justify charging as much as they do for off-season ski cabins that look like they haven't been renovated since the 1990s.
What an amazing place. So much to see and do!
Beautiful countryside setting, exquisite food, comfortable rooms, and friendly staff. Their breakfast is simply unparalleled, and their dessert bar is legendary!
Rooms are well above average, but the food is awesome! Local produce made to perfection! The mountain bike trails next to the hotel is great as well! It's a great combo to go trail riding and then follow up with a fantastic dinner!
