Beautiful little spot with fantastic food and excellent service. One of the best chicken pot pies I've ever had, and coffee you don't have to add milk to. So happy to have this in the neighborhood as an easy lunch option near the office.

Great reuben, gorgeous decor and vibe, and really great quality coffee. Smoked cod dish was a little fiddly to eat (had to cut up everything within a soup, which was a little tricky) but tasty. Also, notably good service.

What an experience! Schmaltz is a wonderful place. Grandiose interior, there is a Bistro/cafe/Cocktail-bar feel to it. I had some cold cuts for starters, a very hot and tasty meat pie, and an amazing lemon tarte for dessert. Drank some light beer with grape fruit-juice, and had an espresso. The staff is very friendly, and knowledgeable about the food. Definitely recommend this restaurant.

Great atmosphere, very nice place and hearty food that really tastes great. The service was a bit slow and the place a bit crowded and noisy. Maybe better to try a different time than in the weekend. Slightly disappointing that the Reuben sandwich wasn’t available, but a good reason to come back another time.
