Great untouched modernist architecture, artworks, stunning views, nice surroundings perfect for kids, ski slope. Value for money indeed.

This was probably a great hotel back in the 80,s. But alas. no more. Rooms are very dated carpets. badly worn will avoid ever staying there again
Actually we only visited outside of this place. Wonderful view from all around. They've a church, ice hockey stadium and many slopes full of snow. Wonderful place to visit. We visited on weekend. Had a good time. Good photos and videos we got here. Also there is one beautiful lake nearby that you can visit.
That this hotel has problems is obvious. As a family of 5 (2 adults and 3 children, 10, 8 and 4) we booked a stay for two nights. We got a single room a double. On arrival we were informed that roomservice was not available and beds wouldn't be made during our stay. Towels, cups etc. were only provided for 3 persons. One of the rooms had no soap in the bathroom, nor extra roles of toilet paper. We had to explain to the receptionist we needed an extra bed as we simply wouldn't fit in the double bed with 4 persons. We we're informed that an extra bed (folded ikea version) would cost us 200 sek extra. The receptionist was alone all the time and understandably not very happy with life. Nor very kind or helpful. The rooms have no TV, at least not the one we stayed in. Sweden switched over to digital broadcasting quite a number of years ago and for some reason the hotel has not managed to change there electronics since. The rooms have dirty, stained carpets, old beds (don't lift up the top madrass, the bed in the single room was disgusting underneath!). The toilets were not clean, the door handles were dirty etc. There were staines on the desk and table surfaces in the rooms. There are two plus sides to be mentioned though: the pool area is OK and definitely not as outdated as the rooms, and it is very corona safe staying at the hotel as only a few other people were staying there (for obvious reasons). I would definitely NOT recommend Billingehus. Many hostels provide better and cleaner accommodation.
Location, location, location... Beautiful spot and lovely breakfast. Rooms though are quite old, but clean!
This is the main hotel in town at the top of a ski slope with excellent winter sports facilities. The hotel itself feels a bit dated from the 1970s but the staff were very good and the food was excellent. Provided you don't want a luxury room then this hotel is very reasonable.
They are about to refurbish the hotel and it shows. Great restaurant though.
Very nice place with kind and helpful personal
