Efficient and professional service when inside the Tax Office.
Efficient service once everything is in order, but the extremely long waiting times coupled with the bureaucratic processes of this system make it very difficult to get anything done. I have gone and started an administrative process 7 times until I finally was able to complete it. I would recommend going over each and all the rules beforehand - bring more documents than are required just in case.
Super fast, even started early!
They will tell you it's all peace of cake and 2 months after you apply you will get a bunch of questions they never mention. They are intentionally discriminating international couples when applying for swedish address. If you go to 10 different workers you will get 10 different advices.
I hate this place so much. (unfortunately I couldn't post an emoji with the middle finger, otherwise that's all I wanted to show. )
I feel deeply disappointed as I twice in the beginning of March with special permission from my work in order to go and get some paperwork done, and in Skatteverket I was told that everything was fine and that I would hear from them within 6 weeks. After 9 weeks I wrote them an E-Mail and had the reply that there wasn't any case with my name.
It feel like someone sat down and calculated the least convenient way to do anything, how to best hide actually important information in a wall of pointless text. And then they hired in people who absolutely delight in wielding their power over you, peole who will aggressively and point out when you took a misstep in the complicated and trouble some proces. In short: Awfull place, awfull proces and awfull staff.
