When in Smögen, don’t miss this place! Gösta’s features a restaurant and a fish store, both of top notch quality. We have been there countless times and never been disappointed. The restaurant features a new chef who is excellent. The dishes are very creative and the quality is excellent. We tried Löjrom toast, Swedish Oysters, Moules Frites, and Cod. Everything was spectacular and the waitress was great too. We sat next to the kitchen and were impressed with the attention to detail and speed with which the many dishes were prepared. Don’t miss Gösta’s when in Smögen!

Amazing food, friendly staff, and a great location. Stopped here for some lunch when visiting Smögen and what an experience. Also a fair price considering the place and the fresh produce. Can't wait to go back here!

After walking along the charming Smögenbryggan we were quite a bit hungry. It was a hot day and we were looking for some good seafood with tables out and some shade. And this place had it all. Our dog was welcome as well. The host / manager showed us to the table. A fun guy - a bit strange humour, but a nice guy. We ordered a plate with King Crab legs and shrimp and a shrimp sandwich. Two glasses of white wine with. Food was fantastic and plenty. Fresh ingredients, good flavours. Shrimps nice and tender. Prices were really fair. Wine was the perfect match for the seafood - but a bit pricey with 10 bucks a glass. It was nice sitting here, watching the world go by and enjoying some really good seafood. All in all a great choice for lunch. Will come back one day.

We ordered the high tower seafood and attracted our neighbor table’s eyes. I must admit this is the best Swedish seafood I‘ve ever used, so fresh and delicicious. The dessers is also very good. The small fish shop bistro is located in the corner of Smögen mainstreet and busy pier. Many people are queued for table. Reservation must be made earlier.

I was there in May off-season. I had some local bread, with tomato jam and cheese and coffee to top it off. They also know how to keep the vegetarians happy :)
