Quality of dishes is outstanding- from elk carpaccio, baked cod with roasted beets and oozy chocolate fondant. Service was friendly and prompt. What more could you ask? I would add that menu is rather short, so with just a couple of visits, between two people you will likely have sampled all on offer. And I realize it was a quiet Wednesday night, but it would have been nice if they opened up the more cosy corners of the restaurants to also be sat further away from a noisy group of 5. But overall a great experience and I would highly recommend it

From the street Ardbeg looks like a small restaurant but it extends into the back and to a second room to the side. Massive selection of whiskey, which I can only say seemed extensive. Good food, good service, cosy atmosphere. I needed a reservation. I had the Elk ateak, friend had the deer, we both enjoyed. Very tender. Others had a ribeye burger, which I tried and was lovely; rich and tasty aka a proper burger. Busy around 7:30/8pm, emptying out by about 10pm.
Amazing whiskey collection and great food! Perfectly located in old city this restaurant serves very tasty food, we eat salmon and beef and it was well done ! Great vine selection and moderate prices! We have great experience!

Wow. The sheer range of whiskies here is staggering and utterly delicious. The food, too, is excellent and service can’t be faulted. There are so many drinks to choose from and the waiters have a broad good grasp of the breadth of flavours. The one thing to know is that it’s very pricey, but it’s worth it.
Amazing place. Nice ambiance and delicious food. Huge choice of drinks (whisky, other spirits, beer and IPA). One of two 3 courses menu's are delicious choice. Whisky icecream and Irish coffee sauce was amazing.I can also recommend cocos soup, rabbit and lamb from the general menu. I can definitely recommend this place to everyone - not only whisky fans.
Very nice restaurant in the city center. I had a starter with some tipical Sweden food and salmon and for dessert the pie. I really enjoyed the meal. I had also a beer. I paid 606kr. I definitely recommend this place.
Altough it misses the atmosphere of Aifur, the food is delicious. Reindeer had such a tender meet. Perfectly prepared. The same goes to Elk altough the difference is sensable. Wide alcohol selection, many interesting beers. 10/10 recommendable
