Meet Swedish Startups is a project aimed to facilitate knowledge sharing and learning among the startups, inspire young people to become entrepreneurs and raise awareness about the Swedish startup scene. The interest towards Swedish startups is growing exponentially both in Sweden and abroad. Often, we hear about these startups, we recognize their logos, we use their products and services on a daily basis, but we don’t know the story behind them. We don't know how it started, how the idea was born and evolved. We’re not familiar with the people behind these startups and we don’t know their stories. My name is Cristina Gadibadi and I am the founder of the Meet Swedish Startups project. I am a startup fan and love the way startups change the world by finding better, faster and smarter solutions. Being an entrepreneurial person myself and having both success and failure experience I understood the real value of knowledge sharing. Every problem we encounter, was already solved by someone else before and by having access to this common pool of knowledge, we can grow faster and stronger together. Meet Swedish Startups was born from my passion for startups, my interest in meeting new people and hearing their stories and my belief that “sharing is caring” and we can learn a lot from each other.
