Was in Stockholm for a quick trip and a friend of mine suggested we check out the museum. I had a really good time and I felt like the exhibits were really interesting and well laid out in the museum had a really good slow. The bilingual displays and information cards were really also appreciated and the variety of species to rob the museum was actually very much impressive. Highly suggest anyone in the area looking for something to do on an evening or a day to kill a few hours to stop by here.
Fantastic museum. Much like the likes in New York and London, but in a more manageable size. Good restaurant and lots of facilities make it a comfortable stay for the whole family. You can also bring your own picnic and microwave ovens can be found at those spots. Reserve at least 3-4 hours, preferably the whole day.
A beautiful and huge building A lot of things to see in this museum.. Different animals ...different kind of ... Downstairs there are som amazing balena skelet ... Great mineral show ...
Amazing museum. Very informative, well organized and free of charge! It's not a place where u should rush though, take your time and enjoy all of the exhibitions. I include some pictures of the geological exhibition but there is much more to see! If u want to eat at the museum u can go to the Fossile restaurant but expect a canteen and not a restaurant experience.
Fantastic museum. Lots to do and see for all ages. Well thought-out exhibits and interactive information stations. Good food in the restaurant. Well worth a visit or two
The Museum of Natural history is one of my favourite museums in Stockholm. Entry is free and the exhibits feature animals from all over the world also with some interactive screens and games. The museum has toilets on every floor and navigating in English is pretty easy. There's an information center at the entrance with really warm and friendly attendants as well. Also, the museum is completely child-friendly.
It's an amazing experience to share with your children. Free entrance and there is a nice café to have something to eat and drink. One can not miss this opportunity if you are in Stockholm.
