Comprehensive account of fascinating yet little known Swedish history all the way to the present day. Like the way they don't sugar coat and shy away from akward bits such as role Sweden played in a slave trade or theory of superior and inferior humans.
Extremely well put together museum that provides comprehensive coverage of Swedish history using a lot of human stories as well as key historic events. The gold room has a really rich and extensive collection of beautiful artifacts. Tons of visual displays that help brings things to life. There are also some nice audio visual exhibits. Allow 3-4 hours for a visit.
It is very interesting and and it is organized in very nice way. You can easily follow the Swedish history and not only read and see exhibitions, but also see interactive videos! A must during your trip in Stockholm!
Well made and maintained. A variety of displays and informative exhibitions. Enjoyed particularly for the viking era relics. Can easily do this and the army museum in the same day, which are a short distance to each other. Disabled access seems limited.
I loved this museum! Extensive collection with very well preserved and presented exhibits, so much to see and do. Definitely get the audio guide to make the most of your visit. It's a beautiful museum.
The walk through Swedish history is interesting. Audio guide in multiple languages.
Awesome museum. We were able to make it before the outbreak. Hopefully it will be over soon so you can check it out.
