Food at the Taverna is alright, although not really super authentic Greek food. Prices are good. The staff was fine and quite kind with us. I might go back there but not in the near future.

Love their food! So much food, it's very hard to manage. Everything is so delicious! So cozy restaurant for couples with a candlelight and food to share. It's the best Greek cuisine restaurant in Gothenburg city, Majorna/ Chapmans torget area. I really recommend Stifado (long time cooked beef with cinamon just melting in your mouth) and their rustic french fries to die for!

Delicious food, great service. This is where I take friends and family who come to visit. Always better to call ahead at this place though, weekends it can be pretty busy. Also a couple times I've come about an hour before closing time on weekdays and they've closed early due to a slow day. Better to have a reservation.

The food was amazing, I re comment you call to book beforehand though, we had to call to book after not being able to just come in unannounced ️ Again, the souvlaki and kalamari were just amazing, delicious, and more than worth the price!(170kr for maybe 20 fried kalamari?!) plus we could choose what kind of sides we wanted. Extremely nice waitresses, very professional, moved us to a better table 5 minutes in, very smiling and helpful. We were given free entrée and bread because our plates were taking longer to arrive, and even though it did not take that long at all(we would not have complained) the gesture was very nice. I highly recommend this beautiful Greek restaurant, very cozy and beautiful!
