They are shifting the role of lawyers from applying the laws to more and more anticipating them. It is therefore paramount that law students be aware of and ready for the societal evolutions that new technologies will bring. Tech Academy Nordic addresses that very issue: it is tailored to law students interested in innovative and emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, blockchain and smart contracts. It is a unique program and the first of its kind at Lund University. You will be introduced to frameworks and strategies for solving some of the legal issues that arise when new technologies are implemented within different industries and put into practical business use. The program will take place for the second time in 8th of May 2020 and is offered by the Law Faculty at Lund University, the Law Students Association (Juridiska Föreningen Lund) and Julian Nowag, Director of the European Business Law Master Program, also with the support of Hannes Snellman Law Firm, IKEA, Nasdaq, Sony and Venture Lab.
