Perhaps the most popular national park close to Stockholm and for a good reason. It’s quite accessible, and offers a vast pine forest, several lakes, dams, and lots of animals. unfortunately, on your hike through the park you’ll reach a relatively large area of trees burnt in a wildfire which creates a post-apocalyptic scene. I highly recommend visiting this park specially in summer.

Lovely place, easy to get by buss and good only info. Good trails and nice to visit just for the day

One of the greatest natural park in Europe ! Very clean, the biodiversity is well-balanced and protected. The lakes are great to get refreshed :) Beware : check the hours of the bus 834 from Haninge Centrum to Tyresta By because sometimes it is one single bus every hour. Do not forget your external charger

Nice to visit all year around, all seasons. Have the possibility for camping. But it’s possible to do a day visit from Stockholm. There is a nice cafe to recover energy after your hike :)

Great park for walking and exploring. Lovely little café and visitor centre at Tyresta by entrance.

Great place to take a nice walk for people living in big cities and want to see trees. It's as close you get to being out in nature without actually being there. But it's atleast cozy. Just to many people.
