I tried the gym for one week (visited three times). The location is nice, in the center of the city. There is a big variety of instruments, though some of them need maintenance. There are big windows facing the river, but they are only visible from the pool, so the gym itself is very dark (access to the pool is not included in the gym membership). Also, the gym has the smell of chlorine from the pool, which I find annoying. The changing rooms are dirty, there was mud in most of the lockers. The toilets were also dirty most of the time. Lastly, the opening hours are very restrictive. I don't think I will continue with a full membership, despite the fact that its close to my home.

Found this pic in the gym showed the last moment before the pool was filled with water. The swimming pool has been there since 1941! The 4.6m deep part was designed for diving towers. The pool doesn’t have any water amusement facilities and thus not very crowd. I was barely able to swim from one side to the other a year ago. After spending much time there, now I managed to swim 20 rounds with no pause. I like it with personal emotion especially noticed that the pool is almost 80 years old!

It's one of the best Actic in Uppsala, located in the city with a big pool and many classes
I go there just to my spinning classes, but the installations are good and the staff is very friendly, so I think no matter why you go there, you are going to have a nice place to exercise yourself
Very nice pool but unfortunately run by the Actic organisation with extremely poor and uncontactable customer service. I joined as a member for a year with the intention of staying a member for a year. After nine months I had to move to France for a new job but Actic forced me to pay the remaining three months membership fee. People working at the gym itself are nice. The corporation running the gym however...
It's got location going for it and there are lots of equipment but the changing rooms don't feel very nice
