My 9th semla in 2021. I must say this was definitely the best! Super soft bun (See the air holes in picture 1!) with fluffy /buttery cream that had rich taste of milk (Other ones I’ve tried just had little or even no taste of milk) Almond paste was homemade so it’s very different from other ready-to-use marzipan. I think I tasted the flavour of honey (not sure) and some roasted almonds(?) But, just my preference, it could have been better if more almond crunch was added. (Or the one I had was not mixed well, so it just had a little crunch? I’m not sure)

Their semlor are absolutely amazing! Best in town without a doubt. Try the Toscasemla, it's the best semla I've ever had. I got the so called \foodgasm\ from eating it!

A small, cozy & local bakery shop in Vretgränd 16, Uppsala, with very good selection of fresh baked bread, Danish pastries, cakes, etc. There is a small area with 3 tables where customers can sit and enjoy a cup of coffee with fresh sandwiches or pastries. Very friendly service. Very reasonable prices. Highly recommendable.
A classic swedish fika place. The selection of the desserts are typical swedish. They are pretty good as these classic stuff. Their semla was best I had in Uppsala this year. Not many seatings or super nice interior though. Good for buying home.
Nice little bakery where you can relax for a moment while having a cup of coffee with a cinamon bun. Free coffee refill !! Average prices. Good quality.

A must when visiting Uppsala. Small (!) and genuine with both indoor and outdoor seating, reservation may be necessary if you're a group. Good coffee and delicious Swedish fika! Vegan alternatives available.
