All of our jewlelries are handmade in 100% Peruvian silver by our silver artists that have traditions dating back to the Inca Empire in Peru and particular in the silver and guld. Filigree Is a technique that came with the colonization for many many years. As a consequence our jewelries are quite unique. Some of our jewelries are decorated with "semi precious stones" from Peru. Peruvian silver 950 is a special silver used for handmade silver jewelries in Peru. Our jewelries have silvergrade from Sterling Silver 925 up to fine silver filigree and this is then indicated under the products. Peruvian fine silver is only used for handmade silver jewelries as the high silvergrade make the silver soft and difficult to use in industrial production. Peru is the worlds largest silver producing country. All our silver jewleries are nickel free and tested for allergies. Zumaj (Sumaj) is a word in the original Inca language "Quechua" and means beatiful or precious.
