We rented a cabin for four nights and very much enjoyed our time here. Hiking, canoeing and sauna with beautiful view... this camping is basically the perfect Swedish holiday all in one place. New owners were very friendly and accomodating. The nearest shops and restaurants are about a 40 min drive away, so bring supplies.

We had a great stay in one of the cottages in the 'Stugby' during July and August. The young Swiss couple, who recently took over the cottages and the camping site, is incredibly kind, helpful and motivated. The cottage offered everything that's necessary for a calm stay in the wild Swedish nature and was very cute. Big recommendation!
The worst sanitary facilities I have experienced during our trip in Sweden and we already visited 5. It is not that they were dirty, but quite outdated.It feels like people are doing only the needful so they get pass the season.To ask 40 SEK for one time use of the tumble dryer is absurd if you consider that by the previous camping we paid 15 SEK/hour for our laundry needs. The worst of all is that we did not feel really welcome. It is OK to stay for a night though and the surrounding area is very beautiful. I have no opinion on the stugas they hiring as i made no use of them.
We stayed for 2 nights as our booking was not recorded properly. The receptions was beyond rude even on the phone when I called the week before arrival. \u003cbr/\u003eWe are avid hikers and stay at a lot of cottages around Sweden but was by far the worst one! The cottages are old and terribly outdated. There were pots and containers standing in several places to catch dripping from leaks. The cups/plates were dirty so not checked after departure of the previous tenants. \u003cbr/\u003eThe website is terrible and full of conflicting information based on what language you choose. I have also never come across a place where the electricity is NOT included?\u003cbr/\u003eThe area is beautiful but if you're looking for the same type of vacation for the same price I highly recommend driving 45 minutes down the road to Säfsen!
Geweldige rustplek. Tussen de meren en naaldbomen. Veel buitenleven en overnachten in prima chalets/stugby's. Ze zijn netjes schoon met basic inrichting. Zeer relaxte hosts met passie voor de natuur!!!
Kleine camping midden in de natuur waar de stilte overheerst. Prachtig uitzicht over het water. Het bedrijf verhuurt ook huisjes. In de zomer van 2020 is het overgenomen door een jong Zwitsers stel. Zij waren zeer gastvrij en behulpzaam.
Efficiënte, vriendelijke en snelle service. Er wordt Nederlands gesproken. Ik zag vooral Nederlandse en Duitse bezoekers. Geen super de luxe uitgebouwde faciliteit, maar in lijn met de integriteit van de plaatselijke natuur en rust. Ik vind het meer de moeite waard met de kano. Zeker ook het eilandje op het 'tweede' meer niet vergeten. Je kan er leuk picknicken of zelfs barbecuen. Aanrader.
Super schöner ruhiger platz. Wünsche den neuen sehr sympatischen Gastgebern alles gute.
